My Review: What a captivating thriller of a book! Awakened seemed as if it could almost reach out grab a hold of you and take you on the ride of your life. The darkness of the story creeps and lurks through every page just waiting to take a hold of you and never let go. In that darkness we meet Laurent a character not to be trifled with as he seems to be more than he appears. Kale being his temperamental self is left wondering if he can save Ella in time or will it be to late. Is he the one to save her. Ella has a few secrets of her own and a lot of questions she needs the truth for but in learning these truths it maybe more than she bargained for. The darkness and betrayals that take place through out the book made for an awesome read! I was so enthralled with Awakened. I loved the characters and how vividly they stood out and made you the reader take notice as if they were speaking straight to you. I couldn't wait to see what played out on every page as the scenes were so dramatic, dark and completely captivating. This story has everything you could want in it and so very much more. I so enjoyed learning more about each and every one of the characters. Awakened is one story that totally took over for me. I truly hope that this is not the end as I have hopes that there is more to the truth then anyone may know. Thank you Inger Iversen for writing such a enthralling book that captures us the reader and completely bewitches us! I am excited to see what more Ms Iversen may have waiting for her readers.
