Blurb-
Partying with friends and scoring a flawless tan is about all Roxie has on her list of things to make her Hampton's summer perfect.
Her parents, however, have other plans and Grandma Betty's farm is just one of them.
Just as her life is in shambles and the quaint town is suffocating her, she meets Chase.
Somewhere in the mix of bummer summer and small town doldrums, he becomes the boy she can't seem to avoid falling for. Just adding him to the picture, her stay starts to get better, even if she knows it has to end with the summer holidays.
That is until Betty drops a life-shattering bomb.
Roxie must make a choice that will change her life forever. What happens when a spoiled brat from New York learns the true meaning of love, loss, and forgiveness?

Can Chase and Roxie find a way to be together or is this just another summer romance?

My Review: I honestly thought oh here we go another Miss spoiled rotten meets country bumpkin we are in love blah, blah, blah story and I could not have been more wrong! Yes Roxie does have all of that spoiled rich girl business going on at first and is totally out of her element when she is sent to spend the summer with Grandma Betty's farm but she is so much more than that. Roxie doesn't have the perfect life even though that's how it looks from the outside but once she opens up you find out that there is a high spirited, loving , girl who has gone through life never having real friends and knowing what it's like to know the kind of unconditional love that will embrace her if she would let it here at Grandma Betty's farm. Roxie meets four people who will change her life in ways she never dreamed and they become everything she always dreamed of having. Grandma Betty throws a curve ball in that I totally did not see coming that will shake Roxie and her new found friends to there very core. Roxie learns a few life lessons along the way that take the spoiled New York brat and turn her on her heals and will forever change her. I fell in love with Knotted Roots and found out that sometimes the story isn't always what it seems. So maybe I learned a lesson or two myself while reading this book ones that I won't take for granted again. I hope you will go pick up a copy of your own and find out how awesome this story truly is!

Title- Hidden Falls
Series- Knotted Roots # 1.5 (Novella)

Genre- YA Romance

Blurb-
The southern summer was back with a vengeance.
Helping out a friend was what Katy had in mind when she agreed to give Roxie a hand on the farm.
She expected it to be an easy job wrapped in the possibility of a break from her mother’s constant vodka stupor.
What she didn't expect was to find him.
Brian spent his life in his brother’s shadow, constantly falling short of others’ expectations.
When he gets the chance to prove himself, he's forced to decide if there’s more to him than just the mistakes he’s made.
The summer was supposed to be easy.
It was supposed to be fun.
But sometimes, when you least expect it...you fall.

My Review: Hidden Falls takes up almost as if on cue right were Knotted Roots left off. Only this time we meet Katy and Brian two of the first real friends Roxie has ever had. Katy is left to run Grandma Betty's farm for a bit while Roxie deals with her over the top parents. She is left to do so with the one person she thought was a waste of time Brian, he has a few ups and downs and makes a few mistakes but, when it really counts and maters the most will he be there to help Katy pick up the pieces and move on?Katy doesn't have the perfect home life but no one on the outside would ever know it by looking in. Just when it seems like Katy has it all under control Katy's life crumbles and she needs to know that she still has one person to help. This novella maybe short and sweet but it packs a whole lot of secret curve balls and some more of those wonderful life lessons. I completely fell in love with this series and am so excited to hopefully see more from it. Ruthi Knight has a way with writing that makes me want more. Ruthi is welcome to have tea with me whenever she likes!
