She awoke to save us, but it may already be too late.

The world is in chaos.

Stars are falling from the sky. Floods, hurricanes, and fires rage across the land. And the only being strong enough to stop it is stuck in teenage form ... again.

Reborn, Gaia has come to Earth to battle through the strife and discover if the world is worth saving.

Tasked with guiding her, it falls to me to help her weather the storms, and hopefully, find a place where she can be at peace. But time is running out, and her patience is waning. Now, I fear if the human race doesn’t destroy the world …

she will.

Lightning streaked across the sky, backlighting the eighteen-year-old goddess as she stood silhouetted against the maelstrom outside. Her auburn hair was wind-whipped and plastered to her neck and face, and though newly reborn, her divinity was something she could never hide … at least not from me.

“How far is it to the temple?” she asked.

“Five hours, but hopefully, you can get some sleep along the way. You’ll need your energy for when we arrive.”

Gaia pulled her jean jacket over her soaked cotton tee and followed me from the room. She was oblivious of the Crags and their intent to kill her, and it was my job––and my punishment—to keep it that way. To protect her from everything … even knowing they exist. After losing my own daughter, and the training I’d forced myself through, this was a task I would not fail again.

THe Broken Realm Release blitz and Review

Title: The Broken Realm
Author: Sarah M. Cradit
Genre: Epic Fantasy, Grimdark Fantasy, Fantasy
Cover Designer: Regina Wamba
Editor: Emily A. Lawrence
Publication Date: March 23rd, 2021
Hosted by: Lady Amber’s PR

Blurb:

The treacherous, magical, seductive world of Kingdom of the White Sea, introduced by USA Today bestselling fantasy author Sarah M. Cradit in The Kingless Crown, continues in this thrilling sequel, The Broken Realm.

The crown demanded everything. The kingdom will answer.

Chaos paints the White Kingdom. Missing children, dead nobles, and a daring escape have created an upheaval that threatens the future of the entire realm.

The lords and ladies are armed with a powerful secret weapon as they prepare to make a stand against the crown, but the resistance has plenty to overcome before they can claim triumph. The lord-less Westerlands prepares for war with the formidable Quinlanden Guard spreading their men and cruelty to every corner of their Reach. In the Easterlands, the sorcerer Mortain cultivates his ominous influence over the enslaved Saleen, a decisive threat he could unleash upon the kingdom with a snap of his finger.

To the kingdom, it appears as if these assaults on their freedom are cosigned by the crown. It seems only a matter of time before the king’s victory becomes total.

But from his isolated throne in Duncarrow, King Eoghan has discovered his authority is not absolute. There are other powers at play, as sinister as they are resilient. Those close to him curate the facts he is fed, keeping him tucked away in the dark while they issue orders in his name. As his control spirals, and opposing forces gain ground, the king’s fragile resolve turns to desperation.

Yet, across the kingdom, a quiet but powerful awakening of magic is taking place. One that began generations ago, on a cold night in Duncarrow...

My Review: The Broken Realm is a enticing and magical book that draws you in from the start. It is an enchanting. twisted, and powerful tale! The characters and storyline are so well put together that the pages just come alive. It truly is a mix of magic and Chaos. I insist that you pick up a copy of both of these books and enter a realm that will take you away.

Sometimes witches hunt their own…

Someone knows my secret and they’re wielding it as the weapon of my execution. I stand accused of poisoning my Gravebriar coven mate. To my fatal regret, I can’t prove my innocence without revealing the truth I’ve long kept hidden: while every other Gravebriar witch are green witches and healers, my magic lies in poisons.

There is one witch who believes me – the same boy who was sent to kill me with instructions to pluck the briars that sprouted from my grave – the only cure for a Gravebriar witch. Forge Silverthorn will be my undoing… or my salvation.

He claims there is a malicious plot vining through the witch town of Cauldron that threatens to tighten around my throat in a deadly noose. Promising I can escape by seeking the help of a banished witch who hides our kind in plain sight, he leads me to a dark circus full of witches.

The ringmaster will only help us if we agree to join his circus of uncanny tricks and diabolical feats for two nights only, using our magic to thrill his patrons. In exchange for our participation under the big top, he’ll divulge the information I need to save my coven mate and clear my name.

But when dark secrets emerge from the shadows of this promised sanctuary, I’m forced to decide if I can truly trust anyone, especially Forge… my would-be executioner, my coven’s sworn enemy, and my could-be love.

NOW LIVE!

My Review: Enchanting, spell binding, magical are all words that describe what an amazing tale that is Gravebriar. I became spellbound by this story and may not ever recover.  Following Castor through this witchy realm felt like she held my hand and walked beside me. As Castor tries to figure out her future and her past Castor is so unsure who to trust. Forge appears and makes for a romance that is wonderful and a touch of bittersweet. As this tale is weaved and leads you along a wonderful journey that left me mystified. I loved my walk with Castor and Forge. I can only say that this spellbound story is one worth the read.

Nefari Ashcroft doesn’t care about rumors. She plans to take it for herself because with it, she can claim what’s rightfully hers: Her title as her peoples’ fated queen.

First, Nefari must travel to her kingdom - a kingdom that hasn’t witnessed a living soul for a decade. This harrowing journey will test everything and everyone she thought she knew.

It was prophesied that the shards of a broken kingdom will find the fated queen, but what if these shards slice deeper than glass?

Bestselling and award-winning author D. Fischer is a mother of two very busy boys, a wife to a wonderful husband, and an owner of two sock-loving German Shorthair Pointers. They also have a cat named Geralt, but since Geralt adopted them and not the other way around, the cat is more of a tenant who occasionally purr-purrs for his rent, if he's not too busy murdering nerf darts.
