A Vampire's Rise
For a vampire, the journey from life to death is just the beginning. For Daumia Velde, this torment will take him from the savage bullfighting arenas of 15th Century Spain into the terrifying chambers of desolate mausoleums. From the darkest, winding, city streets of London into bohemian castles imbued with corridors of eternal secrets and endless lies, yet to be discovered.
Daumia Velde will be paying for his brother's death for the rest of his life. Not because he is guilty, but because those who are guilty need a scapegoat. After stumbling on a midnight bullfight arranged by his brother's enemies, Daumia unwittingly acclimates the bull his brother is scheduled to fight. Bulls are never exposed to the matador on foot before a bullfight. For this terrible crime that he is blamed for, Daumia is sent to live with Roelle Bastillion, one of the men who killed his brother.
While working at Roelle's ranch, Daumia is given more and more responsibilities. As time passes, Daumia is able to bring all the pieces of his horrifying past together and begins to think of his freedom - of paying back the men who accused him and finding a way to rise in the world. What he cannot foresee is the extent of his danger or the depth of the depravity of those who would hide their own crimes behind his ignorance. Freeing himself from their deceptions may take more than Daumia is prepared to give.
It does in fact, require his very life.
As Daumia hunts down his brother's murderers, he becomes entwined in the fateful love of the alluring Sunaria, the woman that will change his life forever. Sunaria is Daumia's sire. This devastatingly sexy siren renames him Orpheus, teaching him everything she knows about what it means to rule the night.
In a terrible twist of revenge, Orpheus's only living son, Jacob is sold to an English family. Orpheus and Sunaria leave Spain behind to find Jacob and bring him home.
London is almost Orpheus's downfall when he stumbles upon a den of vampires lorded over by Delacroix, one of the most fearsome of all the undead. In order to free the mortal prisoners that Delacroix keeps in his seedy dungeons, as well as survive himself, Orpheus must draw on the darkest part of himself, delving into the depths of his psyche.
Orpheus triumphs in finding his son but in doing so he loses Sunaria. Or so he believes. Sunaria's capture and possible murder by the vampire hunters known as The Stone Masters are all it takes to send Orpheus spiraling.
Orpheus sets off on a rampage intending to kill every last Stone Master and their men known as the Stone Lords with devastating results.
Struggling to hold on to the last remnants of his humanity, Orpheus emerges from the underworld, rising out of the ashes of his past and evolving into the deadliest of killers, one that no mortal or immortal can resist.
Book II
A Vampire's Reckoning
Is it fair for the sins of the father to be paid by the son?
Jadeon Artimas lived in the 18th Century among vast wealth and privilege, oblivious to the knowledge that he was born into a secret society of vampire hunters known as The Stone Masters. Told from battling views of Jadeon and Orpheus, the book follows both nightwalkers as they wage a fierce war from SoHo to Stonehenge.
On his twenty-fifth birthday, Jadeon is initiated into the order he is destined to reign. Soon after his attendance at the secret ceremony arranged by his father and held at Stonehenge, Jadeon's world is turned upside down.
Orpheus, the world’s most notorious vampire, has discovered the identity of the Stone Master who murdered Sunaria, his beloved, and sets his undead ambition to making Lord Artimas and his sons pay the ultimate price—by turning his son Jadeon into a creature of the night. After decimating Jadeon's life, Orpheus tortures him further by kidnapping Jadeon's childhood sweetheart Catherine De Mercy. Jadeon never gives up and searches tirelessly for them, sacrificing two-hundred years of his life until he is a broken man.
The twenty-first century finds Jadeon reunited with his brother Alex, and both acclimate to the new world and all its wonders. Too traumatized by the decimation of his family, Alex has refused to ever leave St. Michael's Mount in Cornwall, their family castle.
That is until Orpheus seduces Alex out of it.
Orpheus draws Inspector Ingrid Jansen into his web of deceit. This beautiful and smart detective is placed on the most difficult case of her career when she is tasked to solve a vampire-style murder that occurred at Stonehenge.
Orpheus arranges for Ingrid and Jadeon to meet, knowing that love will blossom between them. His intention: to drive a wedge between the lovers and cause Jadeon even more pain then he has already endured.
What begins as a romantic love affair between Jadeon and Ingrid ends terribly when Jadeon tries to save her from being transformed into a nightwalker by Orpheus. A fight to the death occurs at Stonehenge as dawn approaches. Orpheus and Jadeon are killed, burned up by the sun, and their ashes are joined. In a terrible twist of fate, seconds before Orpheus is killed, he realizes that Sunaria, his long lost love, is still alive.
Fabian Snowstrom, the most ancient of vampires, performs a blood ritual in order to resurrect Jadeon. Unaware of the melding of ashes.
Jadeon and Orpheus rise from the dead as one and the same.
A new vampire is born.
Book III
A Vampire's Dominion
Vampires Jadeon and Orpheus have a few things in common. They both hate each other. They’ve both killed each other. And they both just woke up in the same body. When a vampiric reincarnation goes tragically wrong, two immortals find themselves ever-meshing into the newly-formed William. To make matters worse, someone is poisoning London's vampires and no immortal is safe. William's struggle to come to terms with his identity and maintain his survival leads him back to the beautiful and intelligent Inspector Ingrid Jansen, a woman who not only awakens his heart but may also help him save the city.
The pathway back to what he once was leads William to the mysterious Paradom, a wizened bat-like creature. This confused vampire may very well hold the key to reversing William back into Jadeon and Orpheus. Though what really happened to this creature will leave William spiraling. Paradom was once joined with another vampire and his separation resulted in the death of the one he was once joined with. And left Paradom insane. Fabian Snowstrom tasks William to find and protect Dominion, the one true vampire who is the only hope for the survival of each and every last nightwalker. Embarking on a perilous adventure, William and Ingrid struggle to decipher ancient clues while staying one step ahead of the pursuing Stone Masters. Scouring the city from the aristocratic heights of its regal facade to the darkest deviancy of its corrupted core, they search for a way to reverse his catastrophe—and save all vampires from a growing threat far worse than the Stone Lords ever were. Rising straight from the ashes of the shocking ending of A Vampire’s Reckoning, Vanessa Fewings brings faithful fans back to The Stone Masters Vampire Series right where they left off, while guiding new readers into the embrace of London’s nightwalkers.
Short Story
Mortal Veil
A short story from Vanessa Fewings’ beloved Stone Masters Vampire Series, Mortal Veil features familiar characters in the always-sexy Belshazzar’s night club, the favorite hangout of England’s most wicked vampires. Fewings brings vampire fiction back to its Anne Rice roots with dark deeds and delicious nightwalkers.
With no recollection of the last three years of his life, American art student Zachary Harris finds himself stumbling back down the rabbit hole when his new friend Feebs takes him searching for answers. The only clues: a mysterious bank deposit of half million pounds and Zach’s branded-black tattoo of a raven. Their quest for the truth will lead them to the most affluent part of London, and Zach will have to face the unspeakable truth of a past better off forgotten.
Returning to the London club Belshazzar's, Zach discovers that his raven tattoo was used to hide the one beneath. The circled brand of a Gothica. A servant of the undead. He soon remembers his once loyal servitude to a creature of the night.
His return has devastating consequences. This time his masters will not let him leave. Zach's destiny awaits.
Orpheus, the world's deadliest vampire, lifts Zachary's mortal veil...and guides him right into immortality.

Book IV
He was everything I needed. I was everything he yearned for. He claimed me completely. Our passion burned more fiercely than the morning sun. Jadeon warned me to stay away. Impossible. Not even my investigative work at Scotland Yard was enough to distract me from saving him. This tormented vampire. This Lord of the underworld. My obsession. His domain drew me into its very center. Seduced me. Threatened to consume everything I knew. Everything I believed in. Everything I'd fought for. And a vampire would have to risk immortality to save me.
My Review: What an amazing series this has been and a very appropriate ending with
Bohemian! I was blown away by the story. I relished reliving every bit of the characters lives and how each one suffered and yet stepped up and became something better someone stronger than they had ever been. Willing to take on the world to save what was sacred to them.
Bohemian was no different learning how it all ended for Ingrid and Jadeon was truly poetic. I am in love with this series and can promise you it is one that I will read over again and again as it truly touches my soul. Vanessa Fewings has just found a spot on my shelf of favorites.
